In one week from today the movers will arrive at our house to begin packing up our home. It is still hard for me to grasp, so right now I am just trying not to think of it. There are many positive things about our move to Fort Worth, but right now all I do is dwell on everything we are leaving behind. I am going to miss my mom more than she will ever know, and even though I know that we will still see her a lot, it is just not the same. I am going to miss my sister-in-law and niece, my many friends, getting to go to Aggie sporting events whenever we want...I could go on forever!!! So in the midst of all this craziness, I try to remain positive and remember that everything is going to be okay...hopefully.

Ally-Girl
Ally is getting so big! I can't believe that she is going to be 8 months old on May 4...wow! She isn't crawling, yet, but I bet she will be in another month.

GaGa Time
The kids are so happy to have GaGa back home!!! She was in Rome, Italy for three weeks visiting my dad, so she has been busy catching up with Carter and Ally!

We closed on our house in Fort Worth today. Here are a few pictures that we took while we were there. Carter also had a big day while he was at home with Nana and Grampa (Sam's parents)...he got his big boy bed!!! We ordered it about a month ago and it finally arrived today (just in time for us to be out of town!). It is a lot bigger than I expected! He was really excited about it, especially because he got new baseball and football sheets. I took a picture of Grampa, Carter and Ally playing on it before we put on his new sheets. I'll try to post some more pictures tomorrow! He isn't asleep...yet...but he hasn't gotten out of it so far...we'll see how the rest of the night goes!
I've been meaning to post that we sold our house about 4 weeks ago, and we are closing on May 8. That means that we have to be moved out by then! I can't believe that we are getting so close to moving away from our beloved home in College Station to the scary town of Fort Worth! It will be an adjustment, but hopefully it won't be too painful!

The Strawberry Farm
This morning my sister-in-law, Rebecca, called and convinced me to load up my kids and haul them to Lexington to the Strawberry Farm. When we pulled up to the "farm," I was a little worried that our trip would be short-lived because all I saw were rows of strawberry plants. However, we ended up having a great time, and Carter really enjoyed picking...I mean, eating...the strawberries. We also had a picnic, and ate homemade strawberry ice cream (actually, I only got one bite because Carter ate all the rest of it!!!)! The strawberries were delicious and I totally recommend making the short drive!
