When Sam got off work today he headed to the local grocery store to purchase the last pumpkin they had so that we could carve it. We actually bought two pumpkins the first weekend of October, only to have them stolen off our porch the first night! We had fun carving it together, although neither kiddo wanted anything to do with the "guts." Once Ally saw them, she headed towards the other side of the porch and didn't ever come back to help. Carter cried when I tried to get him to touch them. Maybe one day they will want to help, but until then, it will be up to mommy and daddy to clean it!
